Advertising Poster

Preparing Your Entry
  • The 2024 theme is : Taranaki Innovative Technology
  • The entrant must showcase a single technological development that has had/been, has/is or will have/be an impact within Taranaki as a region of New Zealand or one technological development invented within the Taranaki region that has had/been, have/is or will have/be an impact within Aotearoa or the world
  • Year 7 – 10 only
  • A4 size and must include ‘Taranaki Science and Technology Fair, NPBHS, 5th to 7th August, 2024′
  • Poster needs to be hand drawn or painted
  • Name, year level and school to be written inside a blank 20mm margin at the bottom of the A4 poster
  • If you wish your poster to be displayed at the fair, you must submit your hard copy mounted on a black thick paper sheet in order to protect your work from the staples used.
Submitting Your Entry by June 28th (Digital Entry)
  • Only one entry per person
  • Please scan and upload your entry file.
  • Posters must be in jpg/jpeg or .pdf format. Before you upload it you will need to check it’s in the correct format, and rename it. Otherwise, judges will not be able to open your work and you may be disqualified.
  • The filename must be in the following format: section code – school year – xxxx . For example, if you are in year 10, and you enter the advertising poster, your filename would be: AP-10-xxx. Your school and name will be added automatically to the name of the file.
 
If you would like your entry displayed at the fair, please post your hard copy to Elemental Group Taranaki Science Fair, Level 6, 54 Gill Street. New Plymouth, 4310. Alternatively, another option is to physically drop off entries at this address. Please ensure your entry is correctly labelled using the filename you used when you submitted your digital entry.
